11/30/2003   ah.. ah.. test-o. test-o. check! ok. k-chan is back and kickin' it LiVe here in blogger-ville. give it UP!! :D need to call Hoyt's and arrange it so that along with the delivery they do a recalibration on my tv, either the same day as the delivery or a day or two after it. that way i can just tack it on the same bill as the moving one. get to visit the j-chan in a weekend - yay! got the visiting hours and such from jack whom i spoke with some last night and was able to get a decent update from on jayme and how she's doing. the next weekend: on to vero for a wedding. not mine though :P mental note: buy the ne-chan a card and send it off. ~snork~ they increased my credit line again. mwahahaha. not gonna use it though. nopenope. gonna pay it all off and be much happier and thrifty. save money while spending it. and not just for a house either. need to save to do that retirement thing at some point far far far away. mental note: setup my 401k. the thing with that is i gotta choose some kinda plan and i know absolutely nothing about this kinda stuff. that's what has kept me from setting it up so far. *sighs* day off = rachel day =^_^= it was sooo nice n warm n cozy at the fireplace yesterday afternoon. going back to the cold workplace kinda sucked. and yes, it was cold since no-one knows where the thermostat is and craig wasn't there to adjust the heat. brrr! x 2 got david's dvds to him. got chris' mags to him. just got to get the vhs tapes to sharon and then i won't have that stuff to worry about when moving. though i do need to also get the extra bookshelf to her, too. i'm keeping the three big ones, though i'm unsure as to the two smaller ones, if i want/need them or not. hm... lessee... nonanime cds i want... quite a few actually. pink floyd - the wall. dark side of the moon-SACD. wish you were here. k.d. lang - drag. all u can eat. ingenue. melissa ferrick - willing to wait. listen hard. her newest live cd. nini camps - jewel - pieces of you. spirit. anime/jpop cds are more my field since i'm pickypicky about them. also gotta brush up on which classic rock bands best-of cds i want. led zeppelin is a no-brainer ^^ i have been leaving my toes along now for... a month now i would say. yay! ~pats self on back~ i need to iron my jeans and shirt for today. i think a long sleeve is definitely in order. i have one; it's clean thankfully :P according to the time, i better be getting my butt a moving to the shower and so forth. k-chan ^_^ 8:51 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 11/24/2003   ok. say it with me now... herman SUCKS!!! >.< someone, shoot me now. please. with cherries n whip cream on top -.- on other news, i updated my last blog entry with links to the various nausicaa g00dness that i mentioned. today: prep for the parentage visit. bake another blueberry bread loaf since apparently the first one i made was practically devoured all in one day ^-^ i so can't type this morning. grrr >.> ultra-cute wallpaper of Sugar from small snow fairy sugar. finding good wallpapers can be a pain in the rear. ~bops to TM Revolution~ ah yes... thank the goddess for domestic cd releases. bring em on!! i say :D speaking of which, i need to pick up my X TV OST 2 cd from borders before they send it back. eep. there are a lot of nice completed figures coming out in japan i would love to see get a domestic release. domestic is so much cheaper. i especially hope Pioneer releases the Last Exile dvds, the rest of em, with the rest of the figures that the japanese releases had. the lil figure of Al is kewl ^^ ~cough~ GAY ~cough~ because the japanese can't quite yet get away with blatant gay, though a few have managed and done well by it. they have to rely instead on gay ques that have become unique to anime. it can take a while to pick up on it though, and because it isn't direct, it still leaves the gay open to speculation which is more than OK ^_^ quote for the day: "When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Lewis let me say though that growing up is definitely much better and more exciting than staying a child forever. i think. had a dream about jayme last night. in it i was visiting her at rehab. and she was walking. albeit still unsteadily and with some help, but she was walking. do i believe in miracles? yes. am i praying for them? yes. if anyone can make things happen, it's jayme, with god offering comfort along with friends and family. man, it sucks not being able to see her. gotta work on the hands and arms, and i'll take anything that's an added plus. i am so there at some point in december. make a nice cabin trip with the r-chan {snuggles =^^=} and stop in to see the j-chan, too. hehe.. more xmas goods on the way. for me? nope ^^ the parental units will be in this mid-afternoon. wai! wai! wai! ~pauses~ good. the drugs finally kicked in. ok. i'm done rambling for the day. better get moving and make that blueberry bread, pack stuff for a couple hours, watch a bit of anime, then meet the folks. note: call rachel sometime. k-chan ^_^ 9:17 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 11/23/2003   yo. not much going on here. the days are ticking down to ole turkey day. wow. then it'll be almost xmas. where did this year go again? O_o folks come up tomorrow to visit on their way up to see the sis for thanksgiving. it'll be short but fun, and we're gonna watch Nemo after dinner. they'll love it :D baking some blueberry bread this morning for the always cute and {huggable} r-chan =^^= gonna have to get another can of blueberries to make meself some. it's blueberry bread though; it can't go wrong. and it's got nuts in it. yum! the j-chan is up in atlanta. twas a bummer not getting to see her again before she left, but at least she's up where she can get the care and treatment she needs to start kicking some phys-therapy butt. aw yeah :D i'll get a card up to her there somehow next week. hopefully the peoples will pull through for me until i have a more direct address for the j-chan. lots more cds are getting liscenced for r1 release which makes for a happy k-chan ^_^ watched Nausicaa last night with r-chan. wai! miyazaki and nausicaa and r-chan makes for a very happy night. the subtitles were close to perfect from what i could tell and the audio, for being mono, was very clear and loud. the picture - crispy n clear n progressive :3 i think rooms2go made my couch a wee bit too comfy ;P i definitely want the manga boxset so i can revisit miyazaki's magnificient manga, the artbook, and the figure. now, wanting is not needing so whether or not i get any or all the above, who knows :P slowly making more progress on my xmas shopping. i'm kinda stumped on the parental units and the sis. mom should have sis ideas after their visit for thanksgiving. k-chan ^_^ 9:33 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 11/17/2003   back again, probly just for a short one this morning. it is monday, right? doesn't feel/seem like it. saw j-chan last night. she looks real good, much better than i was expecting, and she was totally alert and awake. the julie gene showed up when i fainted (which i was totally not expecting), but i'm through with that now. i want to see her one more time before this week is up cause it's hard to say when she'll be moving. that, and to just be there and see her so she doesn't worry, and to see that smile which i love ^_^ tomorrow is the best day out of the whole rest of this week for me to visit so i'll chat with jaye this morning and see what she thinks. the 6pm one is perfect. work n everything else is going ok. gotta buy a few things for dinner tonight, but i dun get out till 7p which is kinda late. have to see what the r-chan thinks. mm... curry n chicken :D Last Exile vol 1 w/ltd ed figure shipped. w00t. got that one on the way. very good series; i just know it, even though i haven't seen it yet :P there are three releases for vol. 1 - regular, limited, and extra limited. since i'm not getting the ultra limited edition of the Nausicaa dvd coming out (budget restrictions) this figure of nausicaa on her moehve is sooo tempting :3 at only 2900yen, that's not all that bad, actually. mm... eclair and lumiere completed figures. hopefully they'll see a r1 release at a more affordable r1 price. currently at r-chan's. gawd, how i luv her cable internet connection and loathe my modem connection. mah, ii ka. it works, just maybe not as fastly ^-^ folks will be up next week for thanksgiving dinner. a bit early, yeah, but it's better than not getting to do a thanksgiving dinner with them. we'll be watching Finding Nemo of course :D k-chan ^_^ 8:13 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 11/14/2003   mm... this actually looks like some durn good pasta. it better be to boasting such claims of grandeur ^_- a praising review for Kon's newest work: Tokyo Godfathers. it has nothing to do with mafia, gangs, yakuza, samurai, or anything of the like. in fact, it looks to be a grandly magnificient warm fuzzy movie. i was none too impressed with his Perfect Blue, but i am definitely interested in seeing Millenium Actress and now this movie. the air cleaner i want to get for my aparto and house. before that though, i gotta finish up this moving thing. anyone want some bookshelves? LoL!! :D quite a few other rather amusing episodes, too. Finding Nemo comes out on dvd tomorrow... i think. the 3rd Matrix movie should be coming out in the next day or two also. haven't even seen the second one yet :P i'm thinking about opening an albies checking account so i can get direct deposit. that way my paycheck will be in my checking account every week on wednesday at midnight. that'll be so much nicer, especially since the trucks and paychecks got moved to friday when they were on thursday. it'll take a couple weeks to get processed though. next week's goal: do my online driving course. i may even do it wednesday... not sure yet. i'd have to charge it to my CC though if i did that. shweet. the FLCL cd soundtrack is coming out in jan of 2004. there are two cds alltogether so hopefully the second one will come out soon after.
