10/29/2003   so, is your job/career going to rank in the top 20 (10) highest paid jobs polled? or not? an enquiring k-chan knew hers wasn't, but was curious as to where rachel's was, and likewise, chris. hey now, i could be a traffic control operator; that's nice pay ;D ~rubs head~ wonder if my hair is long enough yet to get cut the way i want... day off. w00t! finish up some cleaning domestic stuff, chill, do some town stuff maybe, and get together with rachel =^^= Noir vol 7 and Haibane Renmei vol 2 came out yesterday. i'll have to pick those up, probly next week as this week is already occupied. wrote another haiku yesterday - about the changing of the leaves to help whisper in the cool of winter. winter = good. fall = sucky -.- noticed that my albies had cranberries in, so of course i got the cranberry bread craving and just had to make some. i did; it was/is excellent. ~chuckles~ yeah, real cranberries are usually a bit on the tart side which can be a surprise if you're not used to them ^_- a neato idea was to sub the cranberries with a different berry-type fruit. the bread mix part of the recipe doesn't change any (the bread got rave reviews) and voila! you have blueberry bread. or strawberry. banana, and even apple. {hugs} domo domo ^^ i hope BN still has my PuffyAmiYumi cd still. i'll find out today. got the v-chan some more bedding and a new kind of bark chewing thing so she has something to knaw on. hopefully she'll like these better then the sticks i got her last time. also scored the B-meister his xmas present. they had the cutest lil cream with grey specs hamster - babies! ^o^ not this year though. maybe next year. i've done the hamster baby thing before; as long as the mom doesn't eat them, once you can tell the males from females, you just keep em in two different cages. petsmart has the cUtest xmas themed doggy toys and treats. they had a beautiful bird. i forget the kind off the top of my head, but he was goofy-funny and purty ^_^ a moment of silence if you please for the passing of Rod Roddy, the announcer for The Price is Right. he was the gent who, for 17 years, shouted " Come On Down!". loved that show growing up; used to watch it with the folks and especially grandma lier all the time. his voice will always stick in my head. Bob Barker is still doing The Price is Right, and when he retires, the show will retire with him. good. it would be TPiR without BB. Roddy passed away from his battle with colon and breast cancer. i know what a colonoscopy entails >.< but in the interest of avoiding cancer, if one needs get done - do it. in the meantime, fiber is your and mine friend. today's tidbit of nothing news : Kia was bought out by Hyandai, whom has upped the production quality in Kia models. here's a lil tidbit about the sun shooting that solar flare at the earth you were telling me about at the beach, rachel ^_^ ~reads article~ hm, it doesn't sound like it is in relation to something huge crashing into the sun which is what you were talking about, but it does involve massive solar flares and interfering with earth satellites. there may even be a chance of seeing some auroras tonight. kewl :) k-chan ^_^ 8:42 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 10/27/2003   so, let's see, yesterday... work sucked. the first half to two-thirds sure did. bleh >.< the end was alright, i think partly cause i knew the end was night. chatted with the R-chan who was having way too much fun at the SWS, but that's a good thing. i think we both agree in that we have a new mission in life - salmon dumplings. mm... if rachel makes em, they'll be good. question being, what kind of sauce then. i dun think the chicken sauce would work right, but i could be wrong... chilling to the Haibane Renmei OST, r1 version, which is missing the ED, Blue Flow which i'll now have to order the cdsingle of from cdjapan, thankyouverymuch adv. grrr! v-chan is chillin in my lap, skittering around and checking things out. she's on, like, constant nervous vibration which i can feel through her lil teeny paws. hamsters do that though. the time change is weird. i dun like it being dark out when i get off work; i'd rather have light. i know rachel dislikes it even more than i do. found i can charge my cell phone with it on instead of turned off. very cool ^^ yes, i'm amused by dumb things :P coffee is g00d. started playing FF7 again for the first time in years thanx to a very special lady =^^= yay. only a couple other FF ps1 games i want, but i'm gonna go for the atari classics disc first. also gonna look into any megaman games for the ps1. no rush though. i have my animeondvd, xena, and Life in general to DO, too. also watched Infinite Ryvius dvd 1 the other day. very good. the highlight of the anime being, of course, the ultra-kawaii ferret, Rafra. squee!!! yay :D speaking of ferrets and movies, there's a movie coming out, Polly something-or-other that has a cute real ferret in it. gotta see it :D it looks funny, too. the trailer had me laughing. work again today. gonna have to catch up to the R-chan sometime since i crashed hard last night and didn't call back -.- mm... ~stretches~ k-chan ^_^ 6:50 AM [ dream flowers blossomed] 10/26/2003   saw Kill Bill last night. very tarantino in art direction, style, flair, and originality. overall, i enjoyed the movie. it wasn't what i was expecting, but expectations are meant to be broken. and speaking of expectations,,, tarantino, i know you like to do your tarantino thing and all,,, but yknow,,,, where's the f***ing end of the movie?!?!?! that kind of not really but _DEFINITELY_ sucked >.< if you never do a vol. 2 to finish the story, i will be very p***ed. rachel's theory, the lil black girl from the beginning is her daughter cause, as pointed out to me, you never are told whether her husband was black or white. hm,,, did y'all remember to set your clocks back an hour?
