and an msrp of $35.96
no news as to why the high msrp, but the first disc will have 6
episodes. my guess is that it will come with a box to house
all the rest of the discs. gonna have to wait and see what is officially
released though.

gomen for the lack of posts, but Yuri is in the shop as of
yesterday getting a new modem since hers got fried in all
the lovely lightening and thundery weather we've been having
lately :P
this is a bad thing normally anyway, but add that on top of
having to get an oil change, tire rotation, and new front brakes
last week and >.< itai!!! >.<good news - me momster is coming up next week to visit,
and stay the night even :D
wOOt!!work has been going well, imo.
i work the 4th next week. this is good because working paid
holidays is a good thing ^^

yes, that is the sound of a good chunk of my green stuff
going down the toyota crapper.
geh, oil changes and tire rotations are ok, but add new brakes
on top of that and !itai! that was painful o_O
demo, it's cheaper to maintain a well-maintained car then
to buy a new one, or have major breakdowns.
Priss is happy so i won't grumble too much ^_-

wah! too many pending shipments when i wanna see "shipped".
just have to wait till tomorrow for another massive influx to
see what has shipped and what has backordered.
i know FLCL will be a backorder simply because the release
date has been pushed back so some encoding glitches can
be fixed. as a result, we'll be getting even more goodies with it :DGundam Movie 2 arrived today, r2 version of course.
why? english subtitles and Progressively encoded, the key
being the progressive encode - something the japanese have
a major one-up on against r1 releases.
i am dissapointed that the Turn A Gundam movies aren't
going to have english subtitles. i was hoping... especially considering
they will most likely be progressive.ya know, i think in my house i want it as open and welcoming
(airy) as possible. maybe have my HT seperated from the rest,
but i want my kitchen (what lil thing i have that'll be called a kitchen :P),
comp room, den, bed, ferrets all together.
it's much more involving and *warm* this way too me.
my HT being more of my sanctuary, and for sonic & video purposes,
i want closed off (relatively), but that's acceptable ^_^
maybe i could piddle around with a design sketch in appleworks...~soothes to Bebop music~

no news/word yet on who, but they are expected to announce
themselves and said liscence officially sometime soon here.
my guess would be at Anime Expo.
now, if someone would just announce the manga...the anime follows the manga very well, and ends in a cruelly
tortuous cliffhanger spot which the manga finishes. i have the
tanks, but i'd love to have an english translation of Alien 9.so yes, when Alien 9 comes out on dvd (and it better be a damn
good encode cause the r2s rock) i encourage all of you to buy
the dvd (4 30 minute OVAs = 1 dvd) and enjoy the wonderfulness
that is Alien 9 ^__^much to do today, yeppers indeedy.

good and, imo, better than ebay or its clones.
no pressure. no bids. just easy sales & if you want to bargain/
banter a bit, that's between you and the seller.imo, this is exactly what i have been looking for and i encourage
you all to at least check it out. who knows, you may just find
that special something you've been looking for at the right price :)new news on the Ghibli front. Laputa will be coming out in

it's nice to see that they have updated, quite a bit,
since the last time i visited them.you know you watch waaaaaaay too much anime when
every. single. one. of the Laws makes absolutely perfect

the days flow by in a blur of animeondvd bliss and work.
work is good too; i'm really enjoying myself now that i'm getting
more into the groove. and of course, the paychecks are nice ^^gads, it's hard to believe the month is already almost over.
this year is truly flying by at an incredibly illusary high speed.
why illusary - because time moves at a set pace despite allusions
by our hearts as to otherwise.
hence, grasp the best that you can, bumps and all, as often
as you can ^_^much Matsumoto-san r2 debt is on the way. the whole Galaxy
Express 999 season was just announced with boxs and dvd
dates galore. they're bimonthly, thank the goddess, but it's still
gonna be one massive chunk outa my wallet those months.

has announced they will be remastering and repressing the KOR
dvds to put the OPs in their proper respective places.

had a lovely day off yesterday - a kidnapped jayme is much fun ^^
assaulted my leasing office and releived them of some
packages of mine. ah yes, i am yet again known as the "package
queen" :3 and since meg has informed me to beware of mysterious
packages ~drools~ there truly is no end.no jayme, i don't think it'll be my feminine wiles/charm that will
be winning point of some woman's heart :P
~chuckles~ demo, definitely strong of constitution, and an otaku/gamer
at heart would be good. of course, i can always convert };DLaputa has a dvd released date of September 2.
wOOt! bring on the Miyazaki :D
that just leaves Nausicaa, of Miyazaki only titles at least. there
is always other great classics of his (& Takahata's) such as Pom

my-oh-my, where does the time fly. it's been a couple days since
my last update hasn't it. oops :Pi do love it though when i get massive emails from BP telling
me that a slew of my aodvd preorders have shipped.
monday or tuesday should be a very good day, and Excel Saga
dvd 1 is so going into my player asap :D
other excellent hopefuls are sure to get spin time as soon
as i am done recovering from laughing my ass off ^^my Berserk vol. 1 w/box arrived the other day. a fantasy anime
i have been looking forward to seeing based on a few select
otaku opinions i trust. the OP rocks, too, which helps.
the box itself is a freaking work of art. i almost want two of them
so that i can have one closed and one open - both for display.

so in conclusion, i'd rather adorn my apt. (and future home)
with lots of books, figures, mags, dvds, cds, and a/d equipment,
all of which will take up plenty of wall & room space.

there is no such thing as CLAMPish doujinshi. there is CLAMP,

aww yeah.... *-.-*a bit of news on the progressive forefront - the individual r2
releases of Future Boy Conan are 99% film which means they
be much progressive goodness. being an anime i want, you can
guess which release i'll be getting then :D
specifically, there are two releases for FBC, the first of which was a
box set followed by the more current progressive individuals release.
FBC good. i highly recommend it and Miyazaki was involved in
it's production. what more doest though need to know ^^the fact that Pioneer both liscenced and is releasing the classic Sherlock
Hound on dvd, another classic series Miyazaki did some work on,
does give me hope though that Future Boy Conan may someday soon
see a r1 release.~sobs~ i hope there is eventually a r2 dvd release of the
wonderful music video, On Your Mark.
me needs soooooo bad ;___;
crappy vhs fansubs is ok, but r2 dvd be much better =^^=for those who are fellow UC Gundam fanatics like me, BP has
Char's Counterattack up for preorder finally. demo, they are
still missively behind on preorders though.

i am happy to announce that the first issue of the english
Newtype will be streeting in august. a special limited
edition version "0" will be available _only_ at AX for those
lucky bastards who get to go.
i'm not one of them, obviously ;____;
ADV is the exclusive marketer/retailer for the anime mag,
though hopefully they'll offer it through Previews.
it'll be unflipped just like its parent japanese version with news
on both r1 and r2 anime goodness.

Armitage Dual Matrix lunch box, there has been a delay in its
release do to an overwhelming amount of preorders for it.
the delay is most likely so that more lunch boxes can be
made and the preorders met.

others, the Macross Plus movie dvd from "mangle" [aka: manga]
is below average with hard subbed irratically timed subs and
crappy video.

to hear anything official until AX. chill peoples cause that's when
whatever is to be announced will be :)
until then this fangirl is keeping her fingers crossed.rewatched the first Gundam movie again last night, r2 of course.
why it over the r1 - it's Progressive baby!! XD
ah... much classic Gundam bliss, and in agreeance with Mariella,
since Zeta is a given, i woulda shouted with her SD Gundam.
lil kawaii sd gundams. how much more crack-o-licious can it get :Dnow that i'm catching up with back-log anime dvds along with
my preorders, i'm getting the FY itch. it's been quite a long time
since i last fested on some fishy-sushi [tips hat to bestbud, chris] that
i think i'll be able to enjoy it again. i watched way to much and burned
out on FY when it has hothotHOT on fansubs.
oi! those box sets are gonna pinch the wallet too. i think i'll get a
few others on dvd first before i go for the FY debt ~sweatdrop~
like SMJ, of which Collection 2 should be shipping today =^_^=more news on the Miyazaki front, looks like Laputa will be a
xmas-ish release. it could possibly be followed by Nausicaa, but it
still leaves in question the releases of I Can Hear the Sea and
Pon Poko.

i could rave on about all the good news but i'll leave that

ah yes, a few companies do come to mind }:Done thing i noted in the FUNi panel discussion is that no one
asked it FUNi as going to go dual-layered for their dvd releases
of Yu Yu Hakusho and Fruit Basket.
augh! >.< this is very important peoples: YYH and FB need
dual-layered discs, even the 3 episode ones.other than that, my damn itchy rash-infested fingers, everything
be just peachy and anime filled. i got Riding Bean today so i'll
finally be able to enjoy this classic Sonada-san and pre-GSC Rally

it's official, though a bit prematurely leeked/announced,
but Bandai USA has the rights to both the second and third
season of Sekai no Senki. expect more news and info to
come out during Anime Expo later this month.
**sparkles** more Lafiel and SnS goodness. i hope they got
the Birth OVA liscenced too.
{{glomples}} Lafiel =^^=it's a bit of old news but i can't remember if i announced it or
not but, Bandai also has and will be releasing .hack//Sign on
dvd starting sometime this year (i think, though maybe next year).

at least, that's the word from a leak in japan, and leaks in
japan are pretty reliable these days. though this doesn't
surprise me one bit since it's a kicka-ass anime and kanno
yoko along with maaya sakamoto are involved, it's still
news to send this fangirl into fangasms :3
hmm... based on a manga, too.... that i did not know. i'd kinda
like to see the manga get liscenced and released too ^_^ah yes, i feel the debt increasing once again. i wonder what
body part i can sell next...according to the lil postcard thingie included with the WotH dvd,
we'll get to see Laputa on dvd come september (fall) of this year.
wOOt! more Miyazaki goodness on dvd :D
**one thing to note on the WotH dvd was that while it was widscreen,
it wasn't anamorphic which really disapointed me because the
bottom of the movie did not quite fit my screen, leaving about a
1 centimeter space of 'black' at the bottom. when you have a
projection tv, that is a bad thing. natural wide, do to the film's unusual
screen size, made it appear a bit too noticeably stretched.**
i wonder what the original aspect ratio was? ~piku~
Totoro had this same problem, though i don't remember offhand
if Kiki's Delivery Service was the same...

with a backdrop of a sakura tree, errant petals wafting in the wind.
sakura trees, sakura petals, and feathers are so CLAMP.taking a break from some much needed and welcome anime
festing. watched the third vol of Gundam 0083 which starts the
new OP - Men of Destiny, and ED - Evergreen.
personally, i like the first ED better, but both are good. it's an
even match on both OPs, though chris likes the second one better.

augh. i'm hungry @_@ ..... must resist.
