Got DSL yesterday, and Amy is a happy geek. <3 This place is about the size of a shoe box, but whatever. Also, the Safeway down the road is the smallest one I have seen in my life, and the one in Tigard isn't much bigger. o_o; The Fred Meyer's aren't any better, either. Eh.

Sunao got a nuke and pave before I set up the DSL, so she's much happier now. <3 I need to load all the stuff from the CDs I burned back on her, but I'm too lazy to do it right now. I'll get around to doing it sometime this year. ^^;

Boxes. EVERYWHERE. At Mom's for a couple of nights, and will have net on or about the 12th. Expanded 640K DSL. Qwest owns my soul. <33333333 And my twin? She hates me. <3 But not too much, cos I got her Full Moon 4, Tsubasa 1 and DNAngel 9. Plus the only copy of Ribon 9 at Kino's and a copy of Weekly Shounen with one of the CUTEST color pictures of Sakura and Syaoran EVAH. OMFG, the HANDS on that boy. *____* *koff*

So Amy's going to move tomorrow, except she called U-Haul today and discovered she might not have a truck, leading to wacky hijinks ["wacky hijinks" value ="Amy turning slowly crimson and barely refraining from reaching through the phone line and RIPPING THEIR HEADS OFF after being on hold for an HOUR AND A HALF and making the reservation on the 27th"] and so we're not sure if we're leaving in the morning or in the afternoon. She's going to be offline for about two weeks, so if you need to get hold of her, grab me and I'll pass it on.

I am officially OFF-LINE for everything but e-mail and the odd blog until prob'ly mid-August or early September. Don't expect to see me at all until next Friday at the earliest. Sunao's getting packed up tonight and put in storage tomorrow. ;_;

I'm at that happy point in packing where it doesn't look like I've gotten ANYthing done and I'm moving SATURDAY and it's THURSDAY and how am I EVER going to get DONE IN TIME, etc. -_-; Mom's coming up tomorrow and is going to sit in recliner and boss, since her back won't let her do anything else, but that'll still help. Half the problem is I'm doing it by myself and have no attention span. ^^; Eh.

... In other randomness, I saw Stephen today. I haven't seen him in ages, and that from a distance, not to actually talk to. After doing fun things like paying rent in person for the first time in two years cos the direct payment is, of course, stopped (did YOU know that the 18 goes HALFWAY OUT FUCKING MARCOLLA before it hits Centenial and Fairview? Neither did I. >_<***), having a 30 second meeting with the transfer co-ord. at the Sec. 8 office ("Here's your paper, call them Friday, kthx!"), and going to EWEB to pay bill and tell them to turn the power off after the 18th, I went to Allann Brothers for lunch and c0ff33. I got my quiche and coffee and he came in just as I was going to get my Spot, so after he got his stuff, he came back and we talked while he was on his lunch break. Seems he works at County, which doesn't surprize me much cos his dad's a nurse. ^_^; That would be the county Psych hospital, btw. Made for some interesting conversation, cos I used to volunteer at Sacred Heart's psych ward. It goes Sacred Heart --> County --> State for people needing inpatient treatment, in order of level of treatment. His brother Danny's getting married to "some chick he just met, like, 8 months ago" but I didn't manage to find out if HE was still single. XD Eh, now I'll stalk Allann Bros if I get the chance and give him my e-mail. XD I doubt it'll happen, but you never know. <3

I'm all registered for all 6 credits I'm going to take fall term - Japanese 101 and a swimming class. Don't tell my mom about the swimming class - she has enough ish with me taking baths instead of showers. -_-; I'm a pisces, dammit, I LIKE water. -_-; And I hate not being able to swim well; as it is I kind of half doggy-paddle. o_o "But you could have a SEIZURE in the water!" Yeah, and I could get hit by a car, too. It's not like I'm going out in the ocean at high tide by myself. >_<* But anyway.

Meant to Do Things today and fell asleep. At least it's cooler now than it was last week, but it's still too hot for my red-head taste. XD

I haven't had a smoke in about 36 hours. It's really fricking hot in here, and so I'm a pile of mush today. I don't want to get out my fans if I don't need to, cos I'll just have to pack them again anyway, and it's only another three weeks. -_-;

... On the plus side, I've gotten god knows how many yards of crochet done, some work done on sk.com and absolutely nothing that I NEED to do, like pack. XP
